What you will do
🚀 This opening is for the unit (team) case management. We empower experts and their teams to build and operate their knowledge-intensive products on BRYTER. As a member of this strategically important unit you will be part of defining and shaping how BRYTER is used by end users.
🗄️ Our work starts when you open up a case in BRYTER: We are responsible with making sure that your case lands in the right hands and that the case managers have everything they need to help you with your case.
👩👩👧👧 As part of our cross-functional unit you will work closely with 8 other developers (Frontend, Backend, Full-stack), a designer, a QA engineer, a product manager, as well as a customer success manager
🗺️ The scope of this team ranges from UX improvements to supporting new workflows and building entirely new parts of the product which allow authors to visualise, manage and publish what they’ve built.
What you’d be doing if you joined today
Here are some features you might work on if you were on the team right now:
🍱 Publishing Services. Our customers use BRYTER to build services. How do they then share these services with their own clients? This is where publishing a service comes in. Authors can publish their services (kind of apps) to a portal (kind of an app store) that will enable end users to discover the different services they can use.
🖼️ Data Views. Case managers can display and share custom views of their data with end-users. Data views allow end-users to interact with the data and navigate around the different services.
You share our values
🔄 We, as a team, work together very closely and with short feedback cycles, both within our team and towards our peers.
🙌 You proactively seek to support and collaborate with others, not just when you’re stuck, but also whenever you can lend a hand. We are largely self-organized, so we require you as our team-member to proactively come forward and take the lead at times without being explicitly told so.
💪 You have a strong understanding of the end results of your work. These aren’t just tickets to implement, but a commitment to our customers to build what they need to get their jobs done.
♥️ You care about the people you work with and are willing to grow together. You also care about the customer and you want to work on a product that matters.
What we are looking for
🏢 You have worked on complex platforms/systems already, such as an enterprise SaaS product. You understand the challenges of writing process- and interaction-heavy single page applications for power users and feel comfortable navigating and extending such a big system.
🧪 You are able to write maintainable tests and have experience writing tests on different layers (unit, integration).
🤝 You enjoy working closely together with experts from other domains like UX, Product Management, and Backend development.
The icing on the cake
♿ You write maintainable CSS and Semantic HTML.
👯♂️You enjoy sharing knowledge through pair and team programming.
BRYTER is an all-remote organization, that started in Germany, but is now spread all over Europe and right now expanding into the US.
We enable business experts to build and distribute powerful applications. Our software is intuitive and simple enough for non-IT experts to understand within minutes, yet powerful enough and enterprise-ready for industries with complex reasoning and demanding use cases. We especially cater to experts in law, finance, tax, and compliance by helping them automate and standardize decision-making.
