BRYTER launches new AI extraction tool, Extract Agent, that enables legal teams to use AI contract review and data extraction functionality across a wider range of use cases.
BRYTER, the legal automation company, today launches a new data extraction tool: BRYTER Extract. By combining large language models with their own AI, BRYTER Extract expands the range of use cases suitable for data extraction by making it easier for law firms and corporate legal teams to use this technology.
Traditionally, contract review and extraction software was only suitable for large deals and transactions given the high up-front investment needed to configure and train the extraction software for the relevant documents.
BRYTER Extract changes this. BRYTER’s software can be used out-of-the-box with little effort and minimal configuration: enabling law firms and corporate legal departments to leverage AI-powered extraction in a wider range of use cases, saving thousands of hours previously spent manually reviewing contracts and other documents.
BRYTER’s AI reviews contracts or other documents (like claims or court documents), extracts the required information (for example, clauses, dates or values), validates the information and presents the results in table/grid structure for analysis.
BRYTER customers can export the data or use it within BRYTER’s no-code platform where the data can be used within workflows, for example, rule-based follow-up questions, document generation or repapering. This is where the real value lies: combining the power of AI extraction within the context of existing legal workflows.
There has been a lot of interest in legal AI, but there has also been some disappointment as the realization dawns: ChatGPT for lawyers isn’t enough. Innovation and IT teams have real use cases that need to be solved with a range of tools: combining AI with workflows. That’s where BRYTER comes in. Using BRYTER Extract, together with our no-code platform, law firms and legal teams can solve real business problem, like repapering, end-to-end.

This announcement comes only two months after BRYTER launched its new product suite: AI Agents, which is already being used by global brands including Bertelsmann, one of the world’s largest media conglomerates with subsidiaries including Penguin Random House and Arvato.
