Gartner features BRYTER’s new AI Productivity Suite in 2024 Legal, Risk, Compliance and Audit Technologies Hype Cycle
BRYTER’s AI Productivity Suite have been recognized by Gartner in the category of legal chatbots as part of its research into legal, risk, compliance and audit technologies only months after BRYTER launched its new product suite.
In the 2024 Hype Cycle for Legal, Risk, Compliance and Audit Technologies Report, Gartner names BRYTER in the Legal Chatbots category, alongside Microsoft, Harvey and Thomson Reuters (Casetext).
Legal chatbots are classified by Gartner as a benefit rating of “high” given the growing volume of requests legal teams receive from internal clients. Legal teams who use legal chatbots, like BRYTER’s Expert Agent, save time that can otherwise be spent on higher value work, and improve client service – finds Gartner.
Being recognized in the legal chatbot category only two months after formally launching its new AI Productivity Suite is a testament to the quality of the solution, and why global brands including Bertelsmann (owner of Penguin Random House) use BRYTER.
While there are thousands of generic chatbots on the market, legal professionals looking to save time answering routine legal questions, or reviewing contracts, should consider the benefits of legal specific AI solutions like BRYTER’s AI Productivity Suite.
Stefanie Briefs, Senior Legal Counsel and Lead of Legal Tech HR at Bertelsmann explains why it was so important for her to choose an AI chatbot solution that was specific to legal:
“We chose BRYTER for our first pilot of a legal AI solution because their AI Productivity Suite is specifically designed to meet the needs of a legal team and the HR business partners. For us, this meant four key things:
- First, all AI-generated answers needed to include links back to the original source documents to ensure transparency and allow users to verify the underlying information.
- Second, we required a user-friendly solution with easily understandable responses.
- Third, the quality of the answers had to be exceptionally high, with no room for errors or hallucinations.
- Finally, the solution had to comply with our stringent data privacy and security standards. BRYTER’s AI Productivity Suite met all these requirements, and their customer care has been outstanding.”
