BRYTER Open, Free of Charge

BRYTER Open

BRYTER Open gives non-profits, NGOs and academic institutions the power of our platform for free.

From the very beginning, our vision has been to enable experts to deliver knowledge at scale. This meant we first needed to build a powerful and enterprise-grade software, which could be used by some of the world’s largest organizations. Our technology needed to be both intuitive for those without coding skills to use, and powerful enough to enable the seamless and rapid delivery of expertise.

Central to our vision is supporting our community: giving academic institutions the tools they need to educate the next generation of business professionals, leveraging our technology to help increase access to justice and empowering individuals with knowledge disseminated at scale.

The right education for the future

We believe that technology already forms a core part of our personal and professional lives and will continue to play an ever greater role. Therefore, technology must form a core part of education. In a digital-first world, experts in compliance, tax, consulting, law and administration must work increasingly with technology and digital systems. The fast, easy and cost-effective distribution of knowledge in digital infrastructures – across private, public and third sectors – will be the core skill of future professionals.

We are experiencing first-hand from our corporate and consultancy customers the need for not only technology, but also people trained in bringing it to use. We see a huge, unanswered demand for skills and knowledge in this area. However, we also see a lack of skills and opportunities for digital education in these respective industries. In pursuit of our mission to enable experts to deliver knowledge at scale, we are committed to supporting education efforts which give students the technology skills they need for the future.

For academic institutions and student teams, we provide free access to BRYTER Open, a community version of our platform for projects that are eligible. Our goal is to give the next generation of lawyers and experts the understanding of how digitization can work in the compliance and regulatory world, to bring compliance process automation to the fore and to empower people to build self-service apps that would normally take months, in hours. Ultimately, our vision is to enable these experts to deliver their services in a digital and scalable way.

And this means putting some of the most powerful technology toolsets into the hands of the most important participants of, and contributors to the future: students.

Access to justice means access to knowledge

Knowledge is at the very heart of access to justice. Access to justice does not just mean being able to access lawyers and the courts, it means having knowledge of the rights, rules and obligations in the first place.

At BRYTER we believe in the enormous power of making information on legal rights and remedies available at scale and the impact this can have on individuals’ lives. BRYTER Open is fuelling the tech for good program, giving NGOs, non-profits and charities free access to the technology which enables them to build digital tools and applications to help make the law accessible to everyone.
