BRYTER is available for participants in the GLH2020.
LONDON/BERLIN/25 February 2020: BRYTER will offer complimentary access to its no-code automation platform to participants of the Global Legal Hackathon 2020 (#GLH2020) to empower them to build digital legal applications. The Hackathon will take place in London on 6-8 March with BRYTER’s Customer Success Team supporting the event.
BRYTER has agreed to offer complimentary access to its no-code automation platform to enable participants without coding skills to participate in the leading global hacking event, #GLH2020. With participants from a variety of firms and legal disciplines, #GLH2020 presents a unique opportunity to bring together lawyers, data scientists, programmers, legal engineers and others with an interest in innovation in legal operations to encourage rapid development of solutions to optimize the delivery of legal services.
For three days, from 6 to 8 March, thousands of people in roughly 50 cities across the world will compete to build novel legal tech solutions. In London, teams will be judged by a panel consisting of Mo Zain Ajaz (Global Head of Legal Operational Excellence National Grid), Elizabeth Duff (Dean of Westminster Law School), Chris Grant (LawTech Director at Barclays Ventures), Rosemary Martin (General Counsel, Vodaphone), Isabel Parker (Former Director of Innovation, Freshfields), Jenifer Swallow (Director, UK LawTech Delivery Panel) and Nicola Tulk (Programme Manager at NESTA).
If you would like to use BRYTER as part of your participation in the GLH 2020, please contact us at glh2020@bryter.io. Please include details of your team members, your organization and a brief description of what you are looking to build with BRYTER. We look forward to hearing from you.
Traditionally it has been hard for lawyers without coding skills to participate in a self-service app development process which means that building solutions can take far longer as coders without domain expertise require the input of experts who do not have the technical expertise. No-code solutions, such as BRYTER, bridge that gap by democratizing the ability to code allowing lawyers and experts to join in events like the Global Legal Hackathon. This enables multi-disciplinary teams to collaborate and build solutions that turn ideas into real and effective working tools ready for deployment to clients and end-users.
“The quality of the solutions created by teams at #GLH2019 and #GLH2018 were really impressive and we expect #GLH2020 to have an even higher standard. The Global Legal Hackathon shows what spectacular results can be achieved in a very short time when a focused, diverse group of experts comes together to tackle a problem. Several ideas that emerged at #GLH2019 and #GLH2018 in London went on to become viable commercial ventures and we fully expect the same to be the case in 2020.” says Robert Millard, Director of Cambridge Strategy Group and co-host of #GLH2020.

“We are always pleased to help those without coding skills to participate in events like this. This is an important step for the future of the legal industry – there are so many people working in the sector who do not know how to code but bring vital expertise, energy and ideas. The Global Legal Hackathon is a fantastic example of people coming together on a global scale to build applications that deliver real value – an idea we wholeheartedly support. Our no-code app builder closes the gap between legal domain expertise and product development skills so it is an ideal tool to enable professionals to participate”, says Sam Spivack, Managing Director of BRYTER UK.
BRYTER was founded to provide business experts with the automation tools necessary to build powerful applications, such as chatbots for business and data privacy automation tools with no additional expertise required, and with all necessary features to distribute, control and analyse applications at scale. Our GDPR compliance software is intuitive and simple enough for non-IT-experts to understand within minutes, yet powerful and enterprise-ready to be used in industries with complex reasoning and demanding use cases, like law, compliance, financial services and public administration.
“We’re delighted to be using the BRYTER platform as part of the solution we are developing for the Global Legal Hackathon, added Michael Kennedy of Addleshaw Goddard, who is leading one of the teams participating and has chosen BRYTER as a toolset for the GLH. “BRYTER’s intuitive, no-code technology means that it is the perfect tool for our team of lawyers to very quickly and professionally build a digital legal tool, in this case, focusing on determining the key risks across a suite of commercial contracts in a more streamlined and automated fashion.”
